Choose between a 45° or 90° angle for a perfect fit.. Measure Joint Size: Use the dime test or a caliper to confirm 14mm or 18mm.. Confirm Joint Gender: This ash catcher has a male joint, so your piece needs a female joint.. Identify Downstem Angle: Check if your joint is angled (45°) or vertical (90°).. Choose Matching Catcher: Select the Hittn catcher with the correct size and angle.. Test Clearance: Make sure the catcher does not bump into the base or percolators.. Consider an Adapter: If the genders do not match, an adapter can solve the issue.. Rinse: Take the ash catcher off and rinse it with hot water to remove any loose debris..
